The members of the European Gerontological Social Work Network have chosen URV researcher Blanca Deusdad to coordinate the organization, together with the University of Vilna researcher Jūratė Charenkova. The tandem was chosen in a participatory and democratic manner in the framework of the European Conference on Research in Social Work, held this April at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen (Scotland). It is the main European event in this area and the meeting point of the research community in social work, where the latest advances in the field are shared and relationships and networks of participation are fostered.
